Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has signed a new contract with the club committing himself to the former European Champions until 2017, Sky Sports understands.
The Scot returned to the City Ground for a second spell in February, and helped the club finish to within just one point of a play-of position.
He guided the club to back to back top six finishes in his first spell with the club, which ran from January 2009 to June 2011.
The club have made an impressive start to this campaign having lost just one of their opening eleven league matches.
They currently sit in fourth place, four points behind leaders Burnley ahead of tomorrow afternoon’s home match against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.
Forest are currently 2/1 third favourites to achieve promotion back to the Premier League after an absence of fifteen years, while they can be backed at 8/1 to win the division outright.
