Kevin De Bruyne has insisted that there is no rush for him to sign a new deal at Manchester City, according to the Daily Star.
The Belgium international has been one of the stand out performers for the Premier League leaders so far this season with one goal and five assists – with the latter tally only bettered by teammate David Silva.
He was particularly instrumental as Pep Guardiola’s men thrashed Stoke City 7-2 on Saturday afternoon – a result which sent them two points clear at the top of the table.
The twenty-six year old’s agent Patrick De Koster believes his client deserves a contract on par with those obtained by the best players in the world though the player, who currently earns around £160,000-per-week, is being patient.
City beat Serie A leaders Napoli on Tuesday evening to maintain their 100% record in this season’s Champions League and they are now priced at 6/1 to win the competition.
