De Gea invites Manchester United bid
Despite mostly denying speculations linking him with a move to Old Trafford in the past, David De Gea has finally admitted a move to Manchester United is a realistic possibility.
The Atletico Madrid keeper has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford and he believes next summer will be the right time for a new challenge.
“I know Sir Alex Ferguson has already watched me. After this season we should look at what happens and who wants to talk can come and talk.
“At Atletico, I owe them everything and I would love to stay, but on the other hand, Manchester United is a great club.”
With Edwin van der Sar close to hanging up his boots, the time is running out for Sir Alex Ferguson to find him a replacement, and David De Gea definitely looks to be winning the race to become next United keeper.

Juve to break the bank for Lyon hitman
Juventus are looking into the possibility of making a bid for Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez as they continue search for attacking reinforcements.
Luigi Del Neri said last week that Juventus needed to sign January reinforcements if they were to mount a serious title challenge, and a true marksman remains a priority.
The Bianconeri are set to make an audacious bid for Lisandro Lopez, who only joined Lyon at the start of last season, and the player’s agent admits Juventus have expressed interest in signing the Argentine forward.
“I can confirm Juventus interest in Lisandro Lopez, as we are talking about a great player,” Fernando Hidalgo said.
Lyon paid €24 million for Lopez in July 2009, who was later named player of the year in Ligue 1, so if Juve want the Argentine they would have to pay at least €30 million.
However, the Bianconeri’s pursuit of Edin Dzeko proves they are ready to break the bank in order to sign a world-class forward in January, meaning they have the money to enter the race for Lopez, who is still cheaper than the Bosnian.

Busquets to pen new Barca deal
Barcelona officials are close to reaching an agreement with Sergio Busquets’ representatives regarding the new deal.
The player’s agent, Josep Maria Orobitg yesterday attended meeting with club vice president Josep Maria Bartomeu, sporting director Andoni Zubizaretta and director of football Raul Sanllehi.
The sources close to Barca say the agreement will be reached in the next few days with the deal set to be officially announced before the end of the year.
Sergio Busquets’ current contract expires in June 2013 and it has €80 million release clause, but the club wanted to reward the player for his new status in Barcelona as well as the national team, meaning he will be offered a two-year contract extension with a significant pay rise.
The club officials are aware Busquets has become an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s side and this is a great way to ensure he stays at Camp Nou for at least five more years.
