Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has revealed that he is very happy at Manchester United. The Spaniard has already made a string of impressive saves this season for the club, despite the fact that they’ve had a few negative results along the way. While him explicitly saying that he’s happy at Old Trafford may not mean much for a lot of fans, it’s certainly an indication that things are moving in the right direction after two years of complete uncertainty.
De Gea was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid both this summer and last, with many believing that it was only a matter of time until the move became official. Alas, Real opted to go with Courtois as their leading man and while De Gea may have been interested in the move, it seems as if he’ll be remaining in Manchester for the foreseeable future – to the joy of United fans around the world.
