Belgian right midfielder Tom de Mul is openenly considering to leave Spanish Primera Division side Sevilla and develop his career elsewhere.
De Mul left Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam to join Sevilla in 2007, but has made only nine league appearances since. This season, he played only 65 minutes divided over three games.
“I love the club and the city,” De Muld told Spanish agency Europa Press. “But maybe it is wise to leave because I have to play more. I’m 22 now and that’s an important age to play a lot, to improve as footballer.
“This year hasn’t been the way I wanted. I played more than last year but situation is still difficult. I don’t play a lot and I don’t know whether that will change. They tell me that they’re satisfied with me but Jesus Navas is first choice on my position.
“If a club pays what Sevilla asks for me, then it’s possible that I will leave. I want a good club. Maybe in Spain, maybe elsewhere. But it has to be a good club, otherwise I won’t leave Sevilla,” he concluded.
