Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi refused to rule out the possibility of leaving the club on a free transfer next summer.
The Italy international has one year left on his deal at Olimpico and talks regarding a contract extension appear to have hit a standstill.
“This is certainly a matter that should have been resolved earlier,” De Rossi told reporters at Italy’s training camp Coverciano.
“Things have stalled right now and we are studying the matter, but we’ll certainly find a solution, in one way or another, that suits everyone.
“Could I leave on a Bosman? It depends on the contract and if we reach an agreement.
“I have never put pressure on Roma and I never will as that would affect my relationship with the club.”
