De Rossi to stay at Roma

Italian midfielder Daniele De Rossi has declared that he will not be leaving Roma in the summer.

The Giallorossi star has been linked with a move away from the club after their disappointing season.

“Every year at Roma, around April or May, the rumours start spreading around,” he told Sportmediaset.it.

“I’m very calm: I entrust my future to this shirt. A negative season will not make me change my mind, at least not to me.

“From the placing and results point of view, we did not do well, but not everything must be thrown away. In Europe we did well like against Arsenal, and in the league we were able to play great games at San Siro against Inter and Milan.”
