Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Roma are set to sign Italy keeper Morgan De Sanctis from Napoli.
The veteran goalkeeper is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Stadio Olimpico even though the deal has yet to be wrapped up.
Napoli are prepared to let De Sanctis join Roma as they have a deal in place to sign Pepe Reina on a season-long loan, but they have also asked the Italian to give up part of his win bonuses for last season.
The player is not keen on agreeing to such an arrangement, but it is believed that this is unlikely to scupper the deal.
Napoli are waiting for the Reina transfer to be officially closed before they sanction De Sanctis’ sale to Roma, but everything suggests the move could go through later today.
Morgan De Sanctis is, therefore, set to leave Stadio San Paolo after four years and 147 Serie A appearances.
