Manchester City unexpectedly lost their Premier League game at home against 10-men Leeds United. Stuart Dallas opened the scoring for the visitors in the 42nd minute, and Liam Cooper earned himself a straight red card for dangerous foul play in the stoppage time of the first half.
City went all out looking to turn the game around and looked set to make it when Ferran Torres equalized in the 76th minute, but Leeds defended well a man down and saw their efforts rewarded with 90 minutes already gone, when Dallas struck again.
City boss Pep Guardiola believes it is necessary to lose sometimes.
