According to Sky Italia, there are three Premier League clubs interested in signing Gregoire Defrel. The 27 year old Frenchman is currently on loan with Sampdoria from Roma, and it’s safe to say he’s enjoying the most prolific goalscoring spell of his career. With that being said, there’s no guarantee that he’d be able to transition that success from Italian football to the Premier League.
Defrel hasn’t really been given much of a chance with Roma, which is likely why so many clubs are interested in acquiring his services.
The three clubs that are said to be interested are West Ham United, Watford and Fulham, with all three being somewhat desperate to register some more attacking options.
Defrel has always been an all-around kind of striker that is going to help out in different departments, which makes us question whether or not he’d be a good fit for any of the clubs mentioned. When it comes to Fulham, though, it certainly seems as if they’d be desperate for anything at this stage.
