Del Piero confident of catching Inter Milan

Alessandro Del Piero is confident that Juventus can still catch up to Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

The Old Lady are six points behind the Nerazzurri.

“We believe that we can catch Inter,” Alex told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We have the weapons we need to fight until the very end and one thing is for certain – it’s time to step on the gas so we can reduce the gap.”

Del Piero also commented on their chances in the Champions League, where they will face Premier League side Chelsea in the last 16.

“The Champions League does have a unique charm,” Del Piero continued.

“We have only lifted the trophy once, compared to the several Scudetto we have won. If I had to pick, I think I would go for the Champions League.

“We really want to beat Chelsea and I feel we can do it, but I refuse to make any predictions!”
