Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero has refused to answer speculations that he is set to leave Turin at the end of the season.
The 37-year-old has just a couple of months left on his contract with the Bianconeri and he appears to have set his sights on leaving the club.
Del Piero is looking for a new challenge after spending last 19 years at the club, with MLS being mentioned as his most likely destination.
The veteran forward has scored a couple of important goals for the club over the last few weeks, which gave the fans hope that he could change his mind, but Del Piero doesn’t want to reveal his plans just yet.
“Is my farewell arranged? It is not the right word,” Del Piero posted on his official Facebook page.
“Last year I did what I had to do by signing a blank contract.
“I’m not thinking about my future, my future is Napoli (Juventus’ next opponents). I want every second of this wonderful adventure, then you will see.”
Del Piero has started just three Serie A games this season, but his goals against Milan and Inter helped the Bianconeri reach the Coppa Italia final and remain in contention for the league title.
