(GSM) – Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero has hinted that he would either sign a new contract with Juventus in the summer or move abroad.
The 35-year-old thinks it would be inappropriate to represent another Italian team, as he enters the last months of his contract.
The club’s all-time leading goalscorer is hoping to be playing for the club next season when the Bianconeri move into their new stadium but acknowledges that a move abroad may also be a possibility.
“Of course I dream about scoring in the new Juventus stadium,” Del Piero told Gazzetta dello Sport. “The decision on my contract renewal will be a natural one, made between myself and the club.
“There is one certainty though and that is that I want to carry on playing – with Juventus or abroad as I couldn’t wear another shirt in Italy. I have experienced some difficult times here, but I have always been happy and I am proud of the path I have taken.”
