Dembele close to Chelsea switch

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele is close to securing a move to Chelsea.

The 25-year-old has long since been viewed as a controversial character within the ranks at the Nou Camp but one thing that cannot be denied is his ability. The Frenchman is up there with some of the very best players in the world and while he may not have fully realised his potential just yet, it may just take the right kind of setting for him to get there.

It’s no secret at this stage that Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of his work and given the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea Football Club heading into the summer, this kind of move certainly couldn’t hurt.

It may blow up in their face in the long run but in a general sense, this is exactly the kind of transfer Chelsea need to be looking at.
