Tottenham Hotspur could be set to part company with Moussa Dembele when the transfer window reopens, according to The Mirror.
The Belgium international has made over sixty appearances under Andres Villas-Boas since switching from Fulham last summer, and has featured in all eleven of their league games this season.
However, he has completed the full ninety minutes just three times, and faces stiff competition from summer signing Paulinho and the now fully fit Sandro in the centre of midfield.
Aston Villa and Newcastle United are the front runners in the race to secure his services, though Southampton, Cardiff City, Swansea City and Napoli are also interested.
The 26 year old played the last fifteen minutes in Marc Wilmot’s side’s 2-0 defeat to Colombia on Thursday evening, and will be hoping to gain a starting berth against Japan tomorrow evening, where he can be backed at a price of 3/1 to get on the score-sheet.
