Dembele not set for Bayern

According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele will not be joining Bayern Munich during the current summer transfer window. The belief is that he is eager to stay at the Nou Camp in order to keep proving himself with the Spanish giants, and Barcelona are also interested in keeping him on the books. Initial reports suggested that they wanted to offload Dembele in order to bring in both Neymar and Antoine Griezmann, but now, that no longer sees to be the case.

Dembele has been a source of controversy at times throughout his spell at the Nou Camp, but now that things finally appear to be calming down for him, there’s seemingly no reason to believe that he can’t go on to become a club legend there.

Either way, though, the rumour mill will continue to swirl until the transfer window is officially closed and the season begins.
