Dembele teases Chelsea move

According to a recent report from beIN Sports, Ousmane Dembele has said Thomas Tuchel is his “favourite manager” – raising some eyebrows from fans and pundits.

While this could be little more than Dembele pointing out the connection he shared with Tuchel during their time together at Borussia Dortmund, some wonder whether or not it hints at the idea that Dembele could turn out to be someone Chelsea decide to pursue.

It’s not exactly a secret that Dembele is tempted by the possibility of a departure from Barcelona and the Nou Camp but at the same time, it also isn’t a foregone conclusion by any stretch of the imagination.

Chelsea are in a really strong position in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, and with someone like Tuchel at the helm, it makes sense that more elite-level players would consider the idea of jumping ship to Stamford Bridge in the near future.
