Bayern Munich has been struggling for a couple of weeks now. The Bavarian giants couldn’t win the last three weeks and are in danger of elimination in the Champions League. Defender Martin Demichelis warns his teammates ahead of a crucial phase of the season. “I hope it’s not too late to turn the tide. If that won’t happen we’ll be in a chaos and it will only become worse.”
The Argentina international also indicated in Bild that the team must win on Sunday against Bayer Leverkusen to keep track of the top of the Bundesliga. Bayern lies eight in the table after twelve matches and are separated from first-placed Leverkusen by six points. “We have to win a couple of matches to restore the calmth.”
The German ‘Rekordmeister’ also has a tough time in this year’s Champions League. Bayern’s fate in the Champions League could be sealed three days after the clash with Leverkusen when they face Maccabi Haifa needing a win while hoping at the same time that Juventus fail to beat Bordeaux.
