Merih Demiral is far down the pecking order at Juventus under head coach Maurizio Sarri. The arrival of Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax in the summer seems to have sealed his fate, and he has been linked with AC Milan and Arsenal recently.
The Rossoneri were apparently the more serious of the two potential suitors for the 21-year-old defender, but now Leicester City are also being mentioned, and that move could potentially cause a chain reaction. If Demiral is to go to the Premier League, Milan would then move for Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo, according to Sport. The Foxes would be willing to pay up to €30 million for Demiral, which is an amount Milan would be reluctant to match at the moment.
It would leave them with Todibo as their next preferred target, whom Barcelona are willing to sell for around €10 million, providing a buy-back clause is inserted in the deal.
