The name of Kerem Demirbay of TSG Hoffenheim has once again appeared on the transfer wish-list at Arsenal, according to Bild.
The Gunners are still searching for a worthy replacement for the soon-to-depart Aaron Ramsey, and the 25-year-old German seems to fit the bill. Demirbay was already linked once (over a year ago) with a possible move to the Emirates, as well as Liverpool who were considering a replacement for Philippe Coutinho. Prior to all that, he was also linked with AC Milan. But at the beginning of last April he signed a new deal with Hoffenheim and dispelled all such rumours.
However, the contract apparently includes a buyout clause set at around £25 million which Arsenal would have no problems activating, should the attacking midfielder be interested in a move to north London.
Demirbay has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Hoffenheim this season, scoring four goals and laying on eight assists.
