Denilson expected to join Bolton

Former Brazil international Denilson is expected to join Bolton, according to his brother.

The 31-year-old has been training with the side and has impressed the coaching team at the Reebok Stadium.

“He has undergone several tests and was highly praised by the staff,” Denilson’s brother Denis de Oliveira Araujo told Gazetaesportiva.net.

“They said that, despite not playing for a month, he has the same conditions of the other players.”

“Bolton board members told us that Denilson’s situation has to be settled on Wednesday,” he added.

“I am optimistic – they gave him the key of the closet of the training centre.”
