Denis Cheryshev ponders Real Madrid exit

El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Denis Cheryshev could leave Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

The Russian winger has found his first team chances severely limited since returning from Villarreal, having made mere two substitute appearances in the league this term.

And with Cheryshev also failing to report a suspension that eventually saw Real Madrid thrown out of Copa del Rey, his days at Santiago Bernabeu seem numbered.

Los Blancos are unlikely to stand in the player’s way if he expresses his desire to leave the club in the winter transfer window, despite the fact that he has a contract until June 2017.

And having impressed while on loan spell with Villarreal last term, chances are Cheryshev will receive offers from other La Liga clubs.

Following the disappointing defeat at El Madrigal, Real Madrid sit five points behind Barcelona and Atletico, and are now 5/1 chance to lift the La Liga trophy.
