(GSM) – Denmark appear to be in good shape with less than five months to go until the World Cup. In an international friendly on Wednesday, the Scandinavians beat Singapore 5-1.

The match was played in Korat, Thailand, and Denmark needed only seven minutes for Jim Larsen to open the score.

Jakob Poulsen converted a penalty on 20 minuttes and Rajko Lekic made it 3-0 in the 34th.

Mikkel Thygesen (48th) and Soren Rieks (79th) went on to make it 5-0, after which Singapore’s Fazrul Nawaz netted a consolation goal in minute 83.

Denmark begin their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on June 14, followed by group games with Cameroon and Japan.
