Looking to capitalize on Leeds’ woeful end to the year, Derby will welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s side to Elland Road on Saturday.

Starting with the hosts, putting in another impressive display and booking their spot in the playoffs thanks to a 3-1 win over West Brom, it has been a bright end to the year for Frank Lampard’s side. Winning four of their last six and tasting defeat just once since the start of March, a huge part of the Rams’ late top-six charge has been their continued performances at Pride Park. Led by leading goalscorer Harry Wilson who has already bagged 17 goals during his loan from Liverpool, the former England midfielder has seen his side win their last four matches on home soil, scoring a very eye-catching 15 goals.

As for the visitors, while Derby might be enjoying a bright end to the season, the same cannot be said for a struggling Leeds side. Coming off the back of a very worrying display in their 3-2 loss away at rock-bottom Ipswich on their final league matchup of the season, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are showing some real cause for concern. Without a win in their last four and losing three of those contests, a huge part of their recent issues has been their form away from Elland Road. Including their defeat in East Anglia last weekend, Leeds have lost three of their last four matches outside of West Yorkshire.
