Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Roma forward Mattia Destro, according to the Metro.
The 23 year old, who has previously been linked with a move to Chelsea, has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Serie A side and now looks set for a January transfer away.
However, he has still racked up thirteen appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring thirteen goals.
Arsenal are one of a number of clubs across Europe to be offered the chance to secure his services, though with Olivier Giroud having recently returned to the first team from injury and a defender being top of manager Arsene Wenger’s wish list, a bid from the North London club is somewhat unlikely.
The Gunners beat Galatasaray 4-1 in their final Champions League group game last night, qualifying for the knockout stages in second place, and they can be backed at 28/1 to go all the way in the competition.
