Angel Di Maria will not be leaving Juventus in January, according to Fabrizio Romano, despite recent rumours suggesting he might. The veteran winger will stay at the Allianz Stadium for the full season, as defined in his contract with the Bianconeri, and his decision on the future beyond that will be made in the next couple of months. Leaving in the winter was never even an option for the former Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain man.
The 34-year-old played a huge role as Argentina emerged from the World Cup triumphant, scoring his country’s second goal in the final against France. The success has obviously placed his name in the minds of the people tasked with spreading transfer rumours, but Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri recently expressed a hope that it would help kick-start his season at Juventus.
Di Maria has so far netted one goal and produced four assists in 10 matches for the Italian giants.
