Di Natale coy on retirement talk

Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale has admitted he may continue his playing career beyond the current season.

Disappointed by team’s performances this season, the 36-year-old revealed his plans to retire at the end of the season back in January, but it appears he could yet change his mind.

Speaking after the impressive 3-0 triumph over Chievo where he scored the opening goal, the veteran striker admitted he was ready to reconsider his decision.

“I want to have fun for another three months and then we’ll see,” Di Natale told Sky Sport Italia on Saturday.

Since arriving at Udinese in 2004, Di Natale has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Italian Serie A and he rejected a number of offers from top European clubs to remain at Friuli.

He has made a total of 318 Serie A appearances for the Zebrette and scored impressive 165 goals in the process.

Having won last three matches in all competitions, Udinese are available at 13/8 to defeat Genoa away next time out.
