(GSM) – Brescia are very close to pulling off a deal for West Ham United ace Alessandro Diamanti, according to club president Gigi Corioni.

The Rondinelle chairman also expressed his interest in Juventus trio Mauro Camoranesi, Fabio Grosso and Jonathan Zebina, but they are unlikely to join the promoted side.

“Diamanti is a fantastic player,” revealed Corioni.

“It is incredible that we are so close to him. Let’s say it is a 70 per cent chance that he will play for us next season.

“We already agreed a deal with West Ham and now only need to sort out the details of his contract.”

Regarding the Juve players, Corioni was pretty clear.

“A player from a club like Juve doesn’t come to Brescia,” he said.

“They wouldn’t have enough motivation. We are a club made for players who want to jump start their career, not end it.

“Éder for instance is incredibly happy to have joined us.”
