Diarra completes Marseille move

Ligue 1 side Marseille have announced the signing of midfielder Alou Diarra from Bordeaux on their official website.

The 29-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the French giants, after arriving from Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee.

Olympique de Marseille have confirmed the deal on their official website.

“Alou Diarra passed his medical on Monday morning and signed his contract in the process,” the statement read.

“With Diarra, the club has secured the services of an international defensive midfielder who is among the best in France in his position.”

The France international is considered one of the best holding midfielders in Ligue 1 and has already spoken of his desire to play for OM.
