Barcelona did go through to the next round of the Copa del Rey on Thursday after a comfortable 5-2 win over Real Sociedad, but the game could have arguably gone down differently had Barcelona forward Luis Suarez been sent off in the opening stages of the second half.
The Catalans were a goal up at the time when the Uruguay international threw an elbow into Yuri Berchiche’s stomach.
He was booked for the offense, but some argue he should have been shown a red card.
