(GSM) – Juventus midfielder Diego still believes his side can end up fourth in the Serie A and qualify for next year’s Champions League.
The Bianconeri have had a very disappointing season so far and currently lie sixth in the table six points adrift of fourth place with just three games remaining this season.
“We have had highs and lows this season and now we must think about recovering,” Diego explained.
“We still have the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League and we don’t want to lose sight of this objective.”
The Brazil international then reflected on Sunday’s stunning 3-0 victory over Bari.
“It was an excellent game in which the team showed itself to be concentrated.
“After the 0-0 in the first half, we came out more decisive and closed the game.
“This is an important result in our sprint to the end of the season and we are focusing on closing the year even higher up the table,” Diego concluded.
