Spanish radio station Cadena Ser has broken some big news this week claiming that Chelsea striker Diego Costa has signed a pre-contract agreement with Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.
The Spanish international striker has been intensely linked with a Chinese move during winter, but Antonio Conte refused to sell his first-choice striker during the Premier League title hunt.
Diego Costa’s head was turned by the lucrative offer and is said to be holding out for a move to China this summer.
Tianjin Quanjian have reportedly moved forward and signed a deal with former Atletico Madrid man who will be earning €30 million a year playing alongside the likes of Alexandre Pato and Axel Witsel.
Chelsea will reportedly earn a massive €90 million windfall from the Spaniard’s transfer and will use the money to sign one of Antonio Conte’s top summer targets – believed to be Real Madrid out-of-favour forward Alvaro Morata.
