Diego finally reveals his italian desire

Werder Bremen travelled to Milan last night, with the hope of securing an unexpected result against the seven-time European champions in their UEFA Cup clash.

The Brazilian star Diego could not escape the questions concerning his playing future: “I will be a Werder player until the end of the year, so for the time being I will only think about playing in these colours,” Diego declared.

“I spoke with the president last week, and we both agreed to evaluate the situation at the end of the season,” he added. “The Italian league is very beautiful, and who wouldn’t want to play in it?”
