Cadena SER understands that Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez hopes to leave the club at the end of the season.
The experienced shot-stopper is still considered a first team regular at Santiago Bernabeu, but he has been feeling the pressure since taking over from Iker Casillas.
Diego Lopez was booed by sections of home fans in weekend’s win over Rayo Vallecano and he is reportedly ready to consider his options at the end of the current campaign.
And with club officials well aware that the current situation surrounding Lopez and Casillas has been detrimental to the dressing room atmosphere, they are prepared to cash in on one of the two players in the summer.
Diego Lopez, who has a contract until June 2017 with los Blancos, is reportedly on the radar of Italian giants Napoli, who will need a new keeper if they fail to sign Pepe Reina on permanent basis.
