Argentina winger Diego Perotti looks set to leave Genoa for Napoli, according to French media outlet L’Equipe.
The Azzurri have been impressed with the player’s performances last season and they are determined to lure him to Stadio San Paolo at the earliest opportunity.
According to the latest reports, the two clubs are in advanced talks at the moment that should result in Perotti moving to Napoli for a fee of €10m to €12m.
The winger will in turn put pen to paper on a four-year or five-year contract worth €1.5 million per campaign.
Diego Perotti, 26, spent his early career at Sevilla, but was then sold to Genoa last summer after losing his place in the starting line-up.
The Argentine returned to the right track while in Italian Serie A, starting 27 Serie A matches for the Rossoblu, scoring four goals and producing five assists for his teammates in the process.
