Diego signs for Wolfsburg

Brazilian midfielder Diego has finally completed his on-off transfer from Juventus to Wolfsburg, the buying club announced on Friday.

The 25-year-old back has signed a four year contract estimated by Juventus to be worth around 15 million euros bringing to an end a move that has been on the cards for several weeks.

The Brazilian, who passed a medical on Wednesday, joined Juventus a year ago from Werder Bremen for 25 million euros, but struggled to score goals.

From 2006 to 2009, he scored 38 goals in 84 league games for Werder, yet at Juventus he scored just five goals in 33 games.
