Liverpool triumphed 1-4 away to city rivals Everton on Wednesday evening in the first Merseyside Derby of the season. Jordan Henderson broke the deadlock in the ninth minute and Mohamed Salah doubled the Reds’ lead in the 19th. A number of home supporters left the stadium at that point and didn’t see the goal that briefly restored their team’s hope, scored by Demarai Gray in the 38th.
Nonetheless, Salah struck again just after the hour mark, and Diogo Jota wrapped things up with just over 10 minutes left with this beautiful strike.
That turn 🤤
