(GSM) – Keisuke Honda was disappointed after Japan’s exit from the 2010 World Cup and insists he will work hard in order to improve his present form.
Takeshi Okada’s side lost their World Cup last 16 tie with Paraguay on penalties following a 0-0 draw on Tuesday. Honda was the Blue Samurai’s top scorer in South Africa and he paid tribute to his team mates.
The 24-year-old Japanese playmaker said: “My teammates supported me and created situations that made it easier to score,”
“But to be honest, I am disappointed, so will work hard to improve.”
