Discussion: Who was right, Robinho or Real Madrid?

I agree partly that the decision to move to Man City was shocking and still is in some ways but maybe something good can come out of all this. Madrid no longer have my support, it started back when i realised that certain people gets credit at that club no matter how good you play, robihno was a main part of them winning the title and Raul who the fans now realise is a major stumbling block to other players was the headline, good thing ikler casillas is such an excellent goalkeeper he was also mentioned. Now maybe Robihno’s the move was rushed but with all this money there now and pushing aside the worries about rich people taking over english clubs i hope it will be used to build a good team rather than showing off and buying namebrand players. Lets face facts, money is needed to hault the continued boring dominance of Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea i’m sure they are the most worried at the moment knowing that there’s another team that can buy any player they can buy. I admirer robihno so much and i hope he makes a big hit with the skills he’s got.

Well, I think that Robinho has made a good decision by leaving Real Madrid. A player of his quality and calibre does not deserve the treatment that Real Madrid has given him. How does Real Madrid publicly reveal that they will use him to convince Man United to sell Christiano Ronald? This clearly shows that Real Madrid does not value and undermines his quality and everything else that he has done for the club. Real Madrid got what they deserved. What is sad in the whole saga is that Real Madrid has failed to sign an adequate replacement in doing so exposing the incompetence of Real’s president Ramon Calderon who does not know how to even spell diplomacy himself (remember the Christiano Ronaldo soapie?) What goes around comes around, but sadly Schuster will take the blame for it all even though he asked for a striker way before the deadline was reached.

Double edged situation. On the one hand you can’t help but feel for Robinho because he clearly felt like the bargaining chip for Ronaldo’s move. He reckons he wasn’t appreciated that much so why the hell continue playing for a team which wants to trade you for another player. On the other hand, Robinho should take the stick for assuming he is ahead of the team in terms of what is best. I mean why sign for a team which has never made top 5 in a long long time and can only dream of playing in the Champions league. A Chelsea move would make sense, but City? Clearly, the kid’s lost focus
