Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni is busy planning the club’s future away from the pitch as he adds Marco Borriello’s name to the transfer hit-list.

The Milan striker is currently injured and unlikely to return before next season. In addition, his playing time at the club is unlikely to increase when he is fully fit. Speculation has linked him with an exit and a return to his home town club Napoli. Donadoni has now hinted at a possible move for the Italian hitman.

“Nobody can say that they wouldn’t like a player like Borriello in their team,” Donadoni told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

“He is a striker whose quality cannot be questioned. However, I think talking about transfers is still a little premature.
