Donnarumma close to new AC Milan deal

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Gianluigi Donnarumma is close to agreeing to a new deal with AC Milan.

Donnarumma, who is now 21 and has been with Milan since the age of just 14, is quite clearly one of the most talented goalkeepers in world football. His commitment to the club has been there for all to see for quite some time now, but there were still some rumblings that suggested he could look elsewhere.

Milan obviously want to put a stop to those rumours and this is the best way to do so, consolidating their fantastic start to the season with what could wind up being like a new signing.

Donnarumma has everything it takes to be an ever-present threat in world football for at least the next 10 to 12 years, and who knows, perhaps he could be lifting the Serie A title high come the end of the season.
