(GSM) – Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has issued the club a warning to check the history of his successors before thinking about sacking him.
Ranieri, whose side currently sit in a dismal 14th place in Serie A, says he always does a better job compared to his replacement.
Roma came too close to knocking Internazionale off their perch just a couple of rounds before the Serie A season’s conclusion last term. However, Roma have endured a terrible start to this season as they have only clinched two wins out of eight league matches.
Speaking ahead of this weekend’s clash with Lecce, Ranieri was full of confidence as he fired a warning at the club’s board.
“I am keeping an eye on those people who are pushing to change Ranieri,” he said, speaking about himself in the third person.
“When I came I always did better than who went before me. And when I left who came in for me did worse.
“I feel unlimited confidence from the club. I don’t feel like I am being judged,” he concluded
