Serie A giants Napoli are considering a summer move on Marseille defender Doria, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Azzurri are desperate to add a high-quality central defender to their ranks, but they have so far failed in their attempts to recruit Marc Bartra and Alessio Romagnoli.
As a result, Napoli are turning their attention to Brazilian defender Doria, who clearly has no future at Stade Velodrome.
The 20-year-old joined Marseille before Marcelo Bielsa took over the reigns and he became the victim of the clash between the coach and club chiefs.
After failing to make a single league appearance for OM, Doria was loaned to Sao Paulo, where he did well to score 2 goals in 14 outings.
Napoli officials believe he can develop into a high-quality player and are determined to lure him to Italy this summer, with Marseille likely to jump at the opportunity to offload the talented footballer.
