Borussia Dortmund are set to wrap up the signing of Italian striker Ciro Immobile, according to Bild.
The Millionaires have been in advanced talks with Juventus and Torino for several weeks now and they seem to have finally reached an agreement.
Bild has learned that BVB will pay €18.5 million in total to the two clubs, with the striker set to sign a five-year deal at Signal-Iduna Park.
And having earlier recruited Adrian Ramos from Hertha, the Millionaires hope the two players will compensate for the departure of star player Robert Lewandowski.
While showing plenty of promise during loan spells with Pescara and Genoa, Ciro Immobile exploded onto the biggest stage this season, scoring a total of 22 goals in 33 Serie A appearances for Torino.
The 24-year-old was subsequently named in Cesare Prandelli’s provisional World Cup squad, and he is tipped to appear at the tournament finals, where Italy are 10/1 to reach the final.
