Dortmund and PSV reach Malen agreement

Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven over the transfer of Donyell Malen, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The papers that need to be signed are currently being prepared and should be sign this weekend. The fee for the 22-year-old forward is set at €30 million, and he comes to the Signal Iduna Park as a replacement for Jadon Sancho, who has completed his move to Manchester United.

Malen left the youth setup at Ajax to join Arsenal’s Under-18 side in 2015, and two years later, he made his way back to Netherlands and signed for PSV. He was promoted to the first team in 2018, and since then, he made a total of 116 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 56 goals and contributing with 24 assists as well. He has 13 caps with Netherlands under his belt so far, with two goals.

Malen was linked with a number of top clubs, including the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool.
