Germany Under-18 international Julian Draxler is attracting a lot of attention at the moment, with Borussia Dortmund trying to steal the player away from Schalke.
Borussia coach Jurgen Klopp believes the 17-year-old would be a great addition to his young side and he is looking to lure the player to Dortmund before he signs a professional contract with Schalke.
BVB youth team coordinator, Lars Ricken is aware that Schalke will do everything to keep the youngster at Veltins Arena.
“I have last seen Draxler in the youth game against us. He was the best player on the pitch then.
”But he still has a contract with Schalke until 2012.”
Nonetheless, Draxler will not be able to sign a professional contract until 20th September, when he will turn 18, meaning the player will be the subject of a real bidding war during the next few months.
