Dortmund bid for Alvaro Negredo

Borussia Dortmund have opened talks to sign Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo, according to Marca.

Spanish daily Marca has suggested that the Millionaires are readying an €18 million bid for Sevilla star Alvaro Negredo.

Borussia are believed to have already contacted the player’s representatives, but they, nonetheless, face a stiff competition for the player’s signature.

Everton, Tottenham and Chelsea are all keeping close tabs on the Spain international, but they have yet to submit concrete proposals.

Due to club’s difficult situation, Sevilla have no choice but to cash in on their star striker, although they plan to sell him to the highest bidder.

Alvaro Negredo, 27, remains one of the most prolific strikers in La Liga, and he has netted 17 times in 28 league matches this term.
