Dortmund confident in landing Brandt

According to a recent report from Bild, German giants Borussia Dortmund are said to be very confident in their ability to secure the signing of Julian Brandt during the summer transfer window. A series of clubs are said to be interested in landing the playmaker from Bayer Leverkusen, who has made it clear that he is interested in leaving the club in the next few months. Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have all registered their interest, but with Thorgan Hazard and Nico Schulz already making the switch over, it certainly feels like Dortmund are leading the way.

The club recently missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich, and yet despite that, there’s still a lot of positivity in the air right now when it comes to where they could find themselves in just a few months time.

That, in itself, is cause for cautious optimism for Borussia Dortmund supporters.
