Dortmund defender wants out

Borussia Dortmund defender Felipe Santana is seriously thinking about a summer exit, Bild has revealed.

The Brazilian is getting tired of playing second fiddle to Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic, and he could decide to leave in order to gain regular first team action.

The 25-year-old has earned quite a reputation at Borussia despite mostly acting as a back-up player, seeing that he largely impressed every time Jurgen Klopp gave him a chance to shine.

The player has already got used to playing in Bundesliga and would prefer to join another German club, and he should have no problems finding a new employer in Germany’s top flight.

Santana has a contract until June 2013 at Signal Iduna Park, but Bild claims that he will be allowed to leave this summer for a fee of €3.5 million.

The Brazilian defender started 8 Bundesliga games this season, while making 3 substitute appearances, and scored one goal in the process.
