Borussia Dortmund are showing interest in Torino striker Ciro Immobile, according to Tuttosport.
The Millionaires had sent scouts to Italy to watch Juventus starlet Domenico Berardi, but they were in turn impressed by Torino’s Ciro Immobile.
As a result, Borussia Dortmund are seriously considering a summer bid for the striker’s services.
Ciro Immobile is co-owned by Juventus and Torino, but it is believed the Bianconeri are not interested in bringing him back to Juventus Arena and will rather sell their stake in the player at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old joined Granata on the back of a somewhat disappointing spell at Genoa, but he has managed to kick-start his career at Stadio Olimpico.
Immobile went on to score 13 goals in 21 Serie A outings this season, climbing to second in Serie A goalscoring charts.
Torino are set to try and purchase the remaining half of the forward’s contract, but it appears they face a stiff competition from Borussia Dortmund.
